Ecologist Brian Silliman’s research showing that snails are to blame for the decline of salt marshes along U.S. coastlines was the subject of a Dec. 21 story in the Christian Science Monitor (circ. 71,527) The monitor story also ran in USA Today (circ. 2.3 million). These stories were the result of a news release.
